STA- First Aid Courses
Course Overview : : This course develops ability to take sensible decisions with patience at right time because when the first aid emergency is for a child or infant the things are frightening. The techniques to handle a baby/child in emergency are different which makes this course exclusive for the children. It is an Excellent First Aid Training package for parents and guardians to gain invaluable knowledge at their own time and pace.
One day programme, Maximum 06 hours
Audience : For learners who have a specific responsibility at work to deliver basic pediatric first aid to children in a range of emergency first aid situations.
Objective : The difference between gagging or choking is important to recognize among children because choking is common. The CPR skills to the delicate lungs, and the first aid skills to the head injuries, burns and seizure etc. are to be developed.
Outline :
Practical : Students will practice the essential skills in small groups and will apply the above skills in scenario sessions during the course.
Accreditation Body : Dubai Corporation of Ambulance Services (DCAS), Safety Training Awards (STA), UK.
Certificate validity : Three years valid Certificate allover UAE and Two years valid certificate inside JAFZA Jurisdiction.
